1st Btn March through Wrexham

I have today been informed by Arhtur that on the Saturday of the Comrades Reunion (5th Sept), the 1st Btn will exercise their right to march through Wrexham as a prequil to their deployment to Afghanistan. This will be a magnificent event for the town and for all of us attending the Reunion weekend...a chance to wish the Battalion God speed and a safe return. So if you can, please make every effort to be there to support them in true Royal Welch tradition.

Gents i will have a chat with the RSM today and publish the timings,
following the parade we will be having a church service to bless the Battalion before we deploy.

Also we are marching through Camarthen on Wed the 9th sept lets support the guys and girls before the deployment with maximum attendance
