Fusilier Harold Austin - KIA Burma 1945

Hi to all RWF forum members, I`ve just started researching my family history and learned that a Great Uncle was with the RWF during WWII in Burma and died there in Feb 1945 and is buried at Digboi War Cemetery in North East India. His name is Fusilier Harold Austin, service No. 5054975 and he was 31 when he died. He was from Stoke-on-Trent. Does anyone remember him, have any stories or any photo`s ?

An update on my Great Uncle, attached are some photo`s. The original war cemetery was on a hill overlooking Digboi town but in 1953 there was an earthquake which meant all the graves had to be moved to a new site. If anyone has a relative buried there, I have a contact who will take photographs.
Thanks to Lars and AP1 for their replies.

Welcome Dave, at the very least we should be able to suggest which Bn he was with. If he was killed on the 25th Feb, we should also be able to tell you what action it was. If any member could consult Red Dragon it would be appreciated. Failing that, I will get back to you mid early June.
