A'r Comrades invited to march with the 1 Royal Welsh on the Caernarfon parade as in Ceregidion?, Information is vague, We know that the 1 Royal Welsh will be at the Baracks at 10.00 and I belive the Parade is at 11.00. any further info would be appreciated, thanks.

I am not sure your information is correct friend, I believe the 1st Bn are marching with a platoon sized version of cadets. On a school day aswell

Re: Updates on 1 Royal Welsh
An article from the Flintshhire Cronicle
FLINTSHIRE County Council is to grant the Freedom of the County to the Regiment of the Royal Welsh at a special ceremony in Mold tomorrow.
The Regimental Band will lead a parade through Mold starting at 11.10am at Mold Campus followed by more than 120 soldiers who will march through Wrexham Street and High Street where the salute will be taken by the Chairman of the County Council, Councillor Quentin Dodd and the Commanding Officer Colonel Gerhard Wheeler, OBE.
Councillor Dodd, said: “I hope there will be a large turnout from the public to show their support for the Royal Welsh at this historic event.”
Earlier in the day there will be a special meeting of the County Council at County Hall when councillors will be asked to pass a formal resolution to grant the Freedom of the County to the Regiment.
Lt Col Nick Lock said: “The 1st Battalion, The Royal Welsh (The Royal Welch Fusiliers) are delighted and honoured to be receiving the Freedom of the County of Flintshire on behalf of The Royal Welsh. Mold and Flintshire have always figured greatly in the life of the 1st Battalion.”

I have been informed that unlike the Ceredigion, (2 Royal Welsh) parade the Comrades have not been invited to march in Caernarfon with the 1 Royal Welsh, (Royal Welch Fusiliers)
