I had a phone call on Wednesday from a former member of the RWF. His details and request are as follow: He started his basic training in Wrexham on the 16/4/1959 (to 1961).His training Sjt was Sjt Masters. His name and number was Bill Davidson, 23618709. He was in "Lucknow" platoon and was on the ground floor of Wynnstay block.Immediately above his platoon were another platoon and the platoon Sjt was Blewitt.After some 6 or 10 weeks he was tranferred to the Intelligence Corps and posted to Sussex. He would like to know if any one who can remember him or served with him can make contact. I have his contact number and information can be channeled through me via Private e mail. It would be more prudent to use this form of contact.I have briefed him on the A.G.M. etc and he wants both the time to digest all the information and hope fully to make contact with any of his former platoon mates. In conclusion he states most firmly he tried to stay in the R.W.F. but his efforts were in vain.Many thanks.
