Richard Malone 4th Bn RWF - KIA 17/7/44

i am trying to find information about Richard Malone of the 4th bat Royal Welch Fusiliers who was killed in France 17/07/1944 age 19 he was from Kirkdale liverpool and my uncle ????

I checked "Red Crown & Dragon", and on the 17th the 532d (Welsh) Division was in the second battle of Evrecy. The day was spent under heavy shelling. For the evening a second attack on Evrecy was ordered with 4th and 7th RWF leading.

The attack went in at 2115, but was a failure as the men advanced into heavy fire. A & D company of the 4th lost a third of their fighting strength, B half.
