    Red Dragon club

I would just like to say what a cracking job,daz fryer, pat and c/sgt chico huw lewis have done in transforming the new red dragon club around,i had a quick glance in last week and it looks really smart, also i could not help but notice how impressive the new dragon looks on the wall outside the club,so well done pat for that, and well done to chico and daz for all the hard work you have put in,in getting the club up and running:winker:

On behalf of Sid burns and I, I would like to say that we are currently doing a project on past and present Royal Welsh(RWF) drinking establishments. We will be compiling a book in the near future and will be declaring one such establishment as "THE BEST PLACE FOR A PINT EVER, EVER, IN THE HISTORY OF THE REGIMENT AND THE WORLD!" To be in with a shout of having the current Red Dragon club being named as the number one in our list, feel free to invite us down one evening for our official 'inspection'. Im sure it will be a club worthy of the name and would feature prominently in our forthcoming publication.(HINT HINT!!!!) You know who you are boys!

    Re: Red Dragon club

Great to see the "Dragon" is still going strong. I think it will take some beating as the best club anywhere. Much of its fame I think is owed to the wonderful characters who were the "The Red Dragon Barman" . The hours they endured listening to the problems of the world being sorted night after night. The Late Fred Dargie and "Sir"Leonard Inglis. Pat 49 and of course Big Jim Brown to name but a few. Thank you to them for some brilliant times and for lending an ear or a shoulder when required. (above and beyond the call of duty) Oops sorry Jim, used the "D" word there!
If I can help somebody as I pass along, my living will not be in vain.
