Arrow Tracing information from Peninsular War

Major JF Cane, 23rd Royal Elsh Fusiliers, was severely wounded at Aldea da Ponte, on 27th September 1811 in the Peninsular War. He made an extraordinary recovery and lived to about 1870.
I am trying to find out any other information about him.
Would his name be on record anywhere at Royal Welch?
Any help, however trivial will be appreciated.
