RWF COMRADES GOLF SOCIETY MEETING, FRIDAY 5th SEPTEMBER (COMRADES WEEKEND). CLAYS PARK COMPLEX, WREXHAM
Our next meeting is on Fr, 5 Sep 2008 at at Clays. We are hopeful that 1 R Welsh Society will be able to join us for this meeting.
Initially, bookings have been for 50 people; we already have 25 names!
The closing date for entry is Mon, 18 August, which is the date that fees have to be paid to the Club. No refund can be made after this date.
The Package: the package for the day will cost £28 and will cover:
Coffee and bacon roll on arrival.
Warm up balls on the range.
Meal: Roast dinner and sweet to be taken on completion of your round, in 2 x four balls, 8 persons at a time. (We all remarked on the excellent roast dinner provided for us on the 6 Jun and we have booked the same meal).
The Competition
The Competition will be an Individual Stableford over 18 holes, off ⅞ of full handicap, with players going out in four balls.
Prizes
The Abbey Bithell Memorial Rose Bowl, to be retained for one year.
Tankards for the winner and runner-up.
Longest drive, nearest the pin, and Twos - suitable golf prizes.
