Dan,
All the best mate from A coy and FSG 2, it's not the same out here without you and all the boy's are missing the morale that you brought to the O'Groups. I myself personally miss the brew's you made "Scorge is **** and making tea"! Myself and keith can still recall the look on the MO's face as she pulled your pants down do examine one of your wounds I don't think she had ever seen anything that big before, she was more red than you mate! Hopefully we will be back at the end of April, and I have a hospital appointment at Selly Oak early may,so I hope you will be up for some visit's by then.
Make sure you take time to recover and heal properly as i said the boy's all miss you and are always asking me for an update on your position.
Take care Dan and hope to see you soon.
Bean
PS: once again dan sorry for banging the door on your head when we were trying to get you in the vehicle, it was just not designed for blokes your size lol!!!!

Re: Afghanistan 12 Feb 2008 - Casualty - A Company Group
I visited Dan on the weekend and it was great to see how high his and carrol's spirits were . All he was asking about was the boys still deployed and how they were doing. The only thing he was wanting is a laptop so if there is anybody out there who has a spare that he can borrow. His medication consists of a can of guinnes a day so if anyone is visiting sack the fruit and flowers and take a crate (honest)

Cheers Scorch for the update.
Does the ward have WiFi ?
If so I'm certain one of the regimental associations could quickly cough up £300 and loan him a WiFi ready laptop?
Can somebody within the Comrades respond?

Dan has now been discharged from selly oak and is currently going through his physio in Hedley court and is getting on well, The DVLA has said he can keep his driving licence however only automatic so this was great for his moral. Both him and his wife are attending the medals parade in cyprus early next month and we are all looking forward to seeing him and having a few swift halfs.
