Dan is still listed as VSI but is making good progress. His pelvic injuries have been stabilised and his leg injuries are improving day by day. He has had a partial amputation of his left foot and his right lower leg requires significant reconstruction work. Most importantly, he is positive, upbeat and optimistic – it is humbling to be in his company. The support from his family is superb and although he is now looking forward to visitors, do check in with the 1 R WELSH Welfare Office first.

I'm sure that Blesma are aware and are ready to assist, if and when required. I'm not sure how much people know but I know for a fact we do have a number of Amputees now serving in our armed forces and not all limited to doing desk jobs !!!!!!!!!!!

Danny from all at the Cardiff and District branch, we wish you a speedy recovery, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family....
