I am trying to trace relatives of my late father, Seth V Thomas who served in 2nd Bn
before and during WW2. He was in Shanghai, and fought at Madagascar against the Vichy French. After Madagascar he was transferred to the CMP (India) and saw service in India and Burma. On cessation of hostilities he was attached to the City of Edinburgh Police for a while before being transferred to the MPSC. The Family home was at 62? Arnold Street, Mountain Ash. I served in the Black Watch before transferring to SigInt.
During my service I met a school friend of Fathers a Rev John Cribb who was a Lt Col RAChD, and who had been a Pilot in the RAF during the War. I would be pleased to hear from anyone who knew my Father.
