    Hello Al,
Would that be the Garrison church in Kingston??? The party that held a reunion in Jamaica in 1993 went to the Garrison Church to hold a service of remembrance for all the wives and children who were killed when the troop plane crashed off Newfoundland killing all aboard. I never heard a word about any other B.O.R.of the period you mention resting there.
    Regards Don

    Hi Don,

The info is from a private list kindly provided to me by Col Sinnett covering all regimental deaths from 1945 - present day. It states Jamaica Military Cemetery as the burial place, and lists the 1951 Ddraig Goch as its source.

Just cross checked the detail on the Armed Forces Memorial Site. The full address is:

    Up Park Camp Cemetery

    Kingston
    Jamaica

    Hello Al,
Thanks for the info Al. I returned to the UK on the "Empire Test" so I would not have known any thing about this acxcident. I phoned Len Watts and he knew nothing about this RTA either. The Garrison church was at the end of Up Park Camp past the Jamaica Battalions billets, so I can assume this is where he is buried. I did look at the Regt history of this period and all it lists are the 39 RWF men and their wives and children killed in the air trooper off Newfoundland.
    Thanks again.
    Don
