Such sad news, he's too young to be in the great Regiment in the sky. May he rest in peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad, sad time.
God bless

As a former member of the Assault Pioneers , I am saddened to hear of the passing of , "Our friend Gwynant".
He was such a nice quiet lad . And i for one, as well as many others have had the pleasure of working alongside him.
Rest in Peace Gwyn

Re: Death of Gwynant Jones (CPL JONES 69) EX D Coy/Pioneers
Myself, Eddie Williams 64 and Guy Owen 18 attended Gwynants funereal yesterday. There was a good turnout with many friends and family were there to pay there respect to Gwynant. His coffin was draped in the Welsh Flag and Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau was sang at the graveside.
Gwynant died under sad circumstances, but I'm sure those that remembered him Will never forget the cheerful but shy young man with a great sense of humor, Rest In Peace.
