4189709 Fus G Shears
Hi,
Does anyone know anything about 4189709 Fus G Shears RWF he was a POW in WWII in camp number 344? I am looking for any information which would help me build a picture about my Grandad-in-law.

Stalag 8b was situated 3 Km from Lamsdorf, the camp was renamed Stalag 344 in 1943.

All we have is his prisoner number 13693. He never liked talking about his time in the POW camp. Unfortunately he died 15 years ago and all his medals were lost. We do not know when or where he was captured but are very interested in finding out any information about his service.
