It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of former Corporal Harold John Jones, who passed away on the 28th of May 2026. Harold served with the Royal Welch Fusiliers for 25 years as a Medic. Throughout his career, his service saw him posted to Germany and Hong Kong, and he completed operational tours in Northern Ireland.
The funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, the 23rd of June 2026, at Glyntaff Crematorium, Cemetery Road, Glyntaff, Pontypridd, CF37 4BE.
The attendance of Branch Standard Bearers is highly encouraged, where possible.
Following the service, attendees are invited to join the family in celebrating Harold’s life and sharing memories at the reception, which will be held at The Social Club/Legion, 55 Penrhiwceiber Road, Mountain Ash, CF45 3SN.
Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with his daughter, Susanne, and all his family, friends, and former comrades at this difficult time.
