We are delighted to announce the details for The Royal Welsh Regimental Association – Reunion North, taking place on Saturday, 5th September 2026, in Wrexham.

This year’s gathering promises to be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, remember, and celebrate together at Hightown Barracks and the Wynnstay Hotel.

Programme of Events – Saturday, 5th September 2026:

09:15 hrs | Association Standard Bearers (North) Competition (Hightown Barracks). A 30-minute grouped competition. The winner will be appointed the Association Standard Bearer (North).
11:00 hrs | Service of Remembrance (St Giles’ Church, Wrexham). A short service to remember the Fallen and members who have passed away in the last year. During the service, a plaque will be unveiled honouring Major General, The Reverend Morgan Llewellyn CB OBE OStJ DL (Colonel of the Regiment, The Royal Welch Fusiliers 1990–1997). Standard Bearers are welcome to attend with Standards.

11:15 hrs | Ladies’ Coffee Morning (Mess, Hightown Barracks). Hosted by A Company, 3 RWELSH. Tea, coffee, and cakes will be served. Cost: £2.00 per person.
13:00 hrs | Curry Luncheon (Main Hall, Hightown Barracks). Join us for a buffet lunch. Cost: £10.00 per person (includes one beer).
17:00 hrs | Bar closes at Hightown Barracks.
18:00 hrs | Group Reunion Photograph (Outside the Wynnstay Hotel).
18:30 hrs onwards | Evening Entertainment (Wynnstay Hotel).

Accommodation:

We have secured a discounted rate at the Wynnstay Hotel for the weekend (Friday 4th – Sunday 6th September) at £200 per room (including breakfast).
