    John Slack

    It has just been announced on Facebook that John (Jack) Slack has passed away. Rest in Peace, John.
    If I can help somebody as I pass along, my living will not be in vain.

    Hi Gwyn,

    I wanted to take a moment to thank you for posting the news about John Slack's passing. It’s truly a sad moment, and I appreciate you taking the time to let everyone know.

    I first met John when I joined the Signals platoon in Minden back in 1966. From the very start, it was clear what a wonderful character he was, always full of life, and simply a great bloke. His kindness, humour, and camaraderie left a lasting impression on all of us who knew him.
