I wondered if some of you may be interested in my new book, published today, based on the 50,000 words my grandfather wrote about his time in the 15^th RWF in the First World War.

Its title is ‘Sniper on the Ypres Salient – an infantryman’s war in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers’, published by Pen and Sword.

Just finished this book, recommend it as it gives a insight into the conditions that were experienced on the western front, especially when the men were relieved from the front line trenches, a subject that is not often broached in other accounts.
