With sadness I inform you of the death of John Phillips (late RWF).

John Phillips passed away on 10 Jan 2024., he was 90 years of age. John served with RWF 1953 - 1955. He was on the advance 2 RWF going to Korea in 1953, on arrival in Japan the Korean War ended and 2 RWF were diverted to Malaya, John served with A Company 2 RWF until completing his service in 1955.

John was a staunch member of the RWF Comrades Association (Llanelli Branch ) and was the Branch President for many years, it was only in the last few years, when in poor health, that he missed the annual trip to the Wrexham Reunion.

He will be sadly missed by all his comrades.

The funeral will be on 30 January 2024, at 1200 hrs at Llanelli Crematorium.
