Well done Lads many of you I worked with & know well so great news, it takes some effort keeping your head down! well deserved.
PS is the a spare knocking about for Scouse 75:biglaugh:
Some of you ex Delta Company boys might be interested to know that I got awarded my LSGC at the end of 22 years after I wrote my plea of mitigation, how do you write a plea of mitigation after shooting Mike Carey on Brecon Beacons? Tell the OC you shot him because he supported Man City lol. It was not expected but glad I got it anyway.
Well done Gents,
For being awarded your Long Service not Getting Caught medal!
Regards
"Ollie" Reed
I wrote a letter, well sum 1 done it 4 me Ref: my LSGC:biggrin: . Think it went in the bin after a CR discussion with the CO in Al Amarah, but hey Ho I could be wrong , and as per the usual you get no feedback of y the plea was turned down . Unless I did get it, and it's with my Telic medal ha ha. However it has not stopped me becoming a popstar member .
Any way lads well done on receiving ur LSGC, Leysh it's a miracle , there truly is a Santa lol.
Stay safe an Merry xmas/Nw Yr :winker:
Congratulations to you all for getting the recognition you undoubtedly well deserve.
As we all know, it's awarded in recognition of long service with irreproachable character and conduct - that must be right because I got mine! (Or was that because I was the ORQMS!)
Anyway lads, keep your noses clean because in a further 15 years time you will be eligible for the award of the Clasp!
thanks very much i think the trick is not gettin caught ?

Congratulations lads, just another £40 odd quid to get em court mounted o and the minitures, not making reference to not getting caught lol, but you have to stick ya head above the parapitt some times. special congrats to Tony Crowther who i remeber joining A Coy as a young Fus and thinking he wouldnt last to long in the Bn with the amount of **** he used to take, from a few people who will remain unnamed to save them embarresment , well done Tony.

I would like to congratulate all those that haven't been awarded the LSGC medal. Your the kind of people that make serving a true pleasure. Remember theres no such thing as bad publicity. Also, well done to the lads for recieving theirs.
Rob , you have got no chance of getting an LSGC pal , but however I got mine, don't ask how.
Congratulations lads well deserved
Alright Sox, thanks for congrats on my LSGC. Obviously the battalion forgot about my little mishap in Bosnia with my Saxon ending up on top of a volkswagen golf up by gorni vakuf. I still get called 'Crowth,Crowth the croat killer!' by the old and bold still in the battalion. Good luck for the future. Les C.
nice one Les, he should have seen u coming m8 they knew how linited the drivers vision was, seen people do worse and still get it mate, good luck m8, ps. fine example for the MT
well done indeed Les, many good memories, you should have got an award for that Gatox you ate in Belize as well, and for the drive-by posse crowded wagon banger ,remember.
Tony i,ve not forgot, i was in the vehicle with you. You made lots of noises as we rolled down the hill, but still very lucky. Well done on your award. Well done to rest of the lads aswell.
Trigg
Well done lads, good on ya all!
One more thing to polish, eh? :-)
