A picture paints a thousand words....
I have to admit that the old grey matter does not work as well these days, and when I see some of the names on the forum, though I recognise a lot and some time need to go to the profile of some, I think that for those that want to, a photo of them selfs in their profile would help a lot of us to remember and give us a quick reminder.
I don't know if this is Possible but it might be worth a look for the future?
Mike:huh:
Re: A picture paints a thousand words....
You may upload a profile picture of yourself by going to the User CP (Control Panel) and selecting Edit Profile Picture, or you can click here: http://www.rwf-forum.co.uk/vBulletin/profile.php?do=editprofilepic
Either enter the URL to the image you wish to use, or use the upload control to upload an image directly from your own computer. Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 64.0 KB (which ever is smaller).

Lead by example - where's your mug?
Re: A picture paints a thousand words....
Can we please ensure that the picture of Sid "Larry's Brother" Burns, is an edited version, as we do not want to scare off some of the younger members!! And please ensure that Paul Goughs picture is without fake tan and hair dye!
Re: A picture paints a thousand words....
I suspect that even as we are reading this, Sid Burns(younger brother of Larry), will be reaching for the "JUST FOR MEN" and applying a liberal dose of "Foxy Red"
Re: A picture paints a thousand words....
Tried that Bob, it is showing a picture, but also saying upload failed?

Re: A picture paints a thousand words....
This is Mike and I last Christmas in HH, as you can see Holyhead folk retain their youthful looks (and hair colour), it's the sea air apparently.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?? It's true dammit!!

I can see that you have managed to upload a picture, but it is hard to actually recognise who it is! I have now increased the size of the picture you can upload to 150 x 150 pixels

Re: A picture paints a thousand words....
Sid (Larry's younger brother) Burns, once told me that his hair is not red, apparantly it's 'Morroccan Sunset'!!!
For those not aware of the reason we keep calling Sid 'Larry's brother' Burns. Here is a quick heads up.. throughout his Army Career, this is how he was always introduced... "Hi this is Sid, Larry's brother". This used to really annoy Sid. So much so, that during the last comrades weekend, Sid threw his toys out of the cot and shouted..."Oi You B*****ds, I was a WO2 in my own right!!".
Hence the reason it is now our duty to remind him even more so!!

Re: A picture paints a thousand words....
In general I think most members don't have their photo in their profile, it would be nice if the majority could post a photo of them selfs in their profile, it would help us older members to remember and give an idea of what you looked like now. Bob nice to put a face to a name, Shar & Scouse even though I know you both well, you both need to get a photo on to your profile.
Mike
Re: A picture paints a thousand words....
Yes but yours is too small, just some bloke in a bar.
Re: A picture paints a thousand words....
In the bar, whats new! As for the photo John, I will get a better one in the next week or so, I lost a lot of my photos when my computer crashed a couple of months ago. I did not need to look at yours as I rember what you looked like, but I did sneak a look and you are looking well.
