Re: Cpl Phil Jones - 3RWF
So sad to hear the passing of Phil Fluter a great musician who was so admired by all who had known him. I remember when the 3rd Bn Corp of drums was formed and met a young Phil who went on to become a stalwart of the 3rd. I know he will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege to have spent some time in his company or had the pleasure of his versatility and the ability to combine music and military to come naturally.Phil you were a quiet unassuming musician admired by all. RIP from Aberystwyth pioneers.

Re: Cpl Phil Jones - 3RWF
As you know, Phil Jones was taken from us after a long fight against illness.
Phil created and maintained the Wrexham Connection, the RWF Comrades Website and the original Delphi Forums Board for RWF personnel. The latter was the foundation for this current Royal Welch Forum.
He showed us that we all have an opportunity to make a difference. It doesn't call for wealth, fame or even taking giant steps—you don't have to be a Gandhi or a Martin Luther King to leave a positive mark. He added value to society, through volunteering to share his knowledge and skills. There can be no question that Phil’s legacy and influence continues to be far reaching in so many different ways.
Phil’s family has requested donations to the Nightingale House Hospice, in Wrexham.
I will make a donation of £20 towards this notable cause and I hope others will also donate, no matter how small an amount.
Donations can be made here: https://secure1.everydayhero.co.uk/e...onation/donate
Re: Cpl Phil Jones - 3RWF
Well said Bob, I will also donate. Phil had a long fight against this terrible disease and it was only in the last few weeks we realised it was the end game. So very sad.
Re: Cpl Phil Jones - 3RWF
Should individuals want to show the donation is from a member of the forum, they should make that comment at Part 3 and 4 of the form, Questions - Phil Jones, from a member of the Royal Welch Forum
The other way to show it has come from our organisation, as I have done, is to select you are donating as an organisation, not as an individual, at Part 2, Donor Details and entering ‘Royal Welch Forum’
Of course, some members might just want to give as an individual and make no reference to the forum.
