My condolences to Terry's family and friends at this very sad time. R.I.P Terry. A true comrade and friend who will be sadly missed.

Sad sad news Wombat was one of the first lad I met when I joined 1plt , I went on to be his brick comd in the Turf Lodge . A great story, we nabbed a rioter in the turf and I told Wombat to arrest him and Wombat replied f--k o-f I am out of the army in a couple of weeks, to cut a long story short, it came out in court, I didn't, half get a grilling from the brief. Cromby coat smelling of brut off to the pussyfoot disco magic times. Until we meet again good buddy. Ned

god bless wombat..he was one of the nicest blokes you good meet a brill soldier always neat everything in its place with wombat very meticulous..when i joined 1plt in feb 76 in tidworth wombat was one of the first to make me welcome, along with chow (thanks for ringing me chow to tell me)..wombat was a true soldier

Spent many a weekend in A Coy Club in Tidworth with Wombat. Really good memories that will stay with me forever, even though those memories are hazy.
