Well done Thom. Although you are now a Canadian, your roots still are in Wales.
Dilwyn Thomas you old "Canuck" you! Yes that does have a certain ring to it, very pleased for you and the lovely Rita.
Is the no shoes for photographs a Canadian thing.........well at least your flies are done up.:smileicon:
Nice one Dilwyn. Love all the Decor butt. How long did you have to wait for them to Nationalise you and the Mrs then? I wish you all the best for the future in your New and Wonderfull New Homeland. All the very best from al at the Denbigh Branch of the RWFCA. Braz
Well Done Dilwyn and Mrs Dilwyn
But you are still a true Royal Welch Fusiler.
Congratulations
Best Regards
From Benny & Carol Ball
You are right Bertie, I'll always remember my roots. We've been here 19 years now and this is where we intend to stay (we couldn't afford to come back to the UK even if we wanted to). However, we now have dual citizenship.
Braz, we only had to wait 3 or 5 years but we just never got around to it until now. Thanks for the nice comments, it's appreciated.
Thanks Gwyn bach. The no shoes is a Canadian thing. Everyone takes their shoes off when entering any home in Canada.
Cheers Benny

congradulations dil on becoming a citizen in canada and the future is a really good one for you both
Hey Dilwyn, that pot next to your right elbow (which you have obviously converted to a lamp) looks awfully like the one that was sold by that small auction house in Cambridge recently for 43 million quid. Is that the reason you can't afford to come back to UK now?
Many congrats Dil, glad to hear you had a great day.

Thanks for the update Brian, yes you can send me the Branch minutes, that would be much appreciated.
My brother played a few times with the clubs and then left them at another friends in S. Wales. Hopefully they are not too badly damaged as he gets really angry when he plays like **** (which he normally does). I hope to pick them up in August as my wife and I are coming over to see some of the Olympics. I think we have tickets for these events "topless trampoline" and "naked beach volleyball" ......... or was that just my fantasy? I don't think I'll have time to play I'm afraid but I'll keep them at a pals in Andover until the next time I'm over.
Wow! 65th birthday and you don't look a day over ... 64.
Stay well my friend.
