2012/13 Premier League Fantasy Football Competition
Are you up for the Fantasy Football challenge?
We may have waved farewell to Euro 2012 just less than a week ago but already Fantasy managers can start to plan for the domestic season ahead, with the news that the official
Sky Sports game is now open for business.
The first Fantasy game released for the 2012/13 season, there is £100,000 in prizes to be won in this free-to-enter competition, with a cool £25K handed out to the winner. With Sky quick out the blocks on the back of today’s updated tv fixture list, rival competitions are likely not to be too far behind, forging a sense of anticipation amongst the community as we await the opening of the upcoming Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game.
Already, we’re looking over the Sky game and weighing it up for inclusion as our official League – for now, this is just a heads-up but stay tuned…I know some of us have already registered with Sky for the Euro 2012 competition so you won't need to re-register.
If you are interested in joining in a 2012/13 Fantasy Football Competition, please vote in the poll above.

Re: 2012/13 Premier League Fantasy Football Competition
Having compared Sky Sports and The Daily Mail fantasy games, I have decided to stick with The Daily Mail as we used them last season; you won’t have to re-register if you were a previous user, and you get 32 transfers and a 100 million budget!
Don't forget there's a transfer amnesty in place right up until the 15:00 on Saturday August 18, 2012, so you can get rid of any injured or out of favour players before the season starts. Simply log in to the site and select 'Transfers' to make any adjustments to your team without using up any of your transfer allocation.
I’ve set up a Mini League and want you to be part of it too. Once you've registered and created your team, fantasyfootball.dailymail.co.uk you'll be able to join the league - you'll just need the Mini League PIN and name shown below to join.

So, if you’re up for the challenge, we hope you'll accept and join us for what promises to be our most exciting Fantasy Football season yet.

HOW TO PLAY

Creating Your Team
Choose 11 players and 4 substitutes to form your squad. You have £100m to spend and can choose any of the following formations: 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-5-1, 5-3-2 or 3-5-2.
You can bring your substitutes into your team at any time before the first scheduled kick-off each day. This means, you can get best value out of your 15 man squad to maximise your chances to score points and best of all, it doesn't use up any of your transfers! You can swap a substitute with any player in your team, provided that it creates a valid team formation.
