Smells.
I was wondering what favorite, (or perhaps not so favorite) smells some of the forum members had. This could be from day to day, nostalga or other memories. I am sure some of you will have some 'eye openers' on this one.
One of my favorites would be the smell of toast.

Re: Smells.
The smell of good fish and chips wafting down a narrow street as you leave the pub.

Re: Smells.
When your wondering around outside somewhere or working, Starving Hungry, Onions Frying, or Bacon. God it's Mouth Watering. The worst is when that Cluttons wagon that collects the Waste from the Slaughterhouses passes. God it's evil. Oh and the Animal Skin Wagon

Re: Smells.
Love the smell of Bryl Cream, reminds me of my Daidy. As soon as we're in the UK, (like Gwyn said) a chippy in the vicinity always does it.
Hate the smell of stinky trainers.

Good smells:
The waft of bratwursts being grilled in a Schnell Imbis......I'm salivating now.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
The smell of petrol and finally the smell of a good British Roast Beef dinner.

Smells I hate:
Sulphurous obnoxious effluvium’s (farts) from both humans and dogs.
The smell of stale sweat!
