You might be right do you mean the streets on the way to the creggan
Yeah,
I must be a sad old git but I seem to be able to remeber lots of trivial useless stuff. Remember they hammered street names into us for months before we left??

Yep! I was there the night we went to the Creggan for the show in the camp. The char walla didnt want to give us more than 2 beers so we took them all. We all got absolutely S### Faced including the Pig driver and we broke down under the lights on the overpass in the Bog. Jinx called out night sun and the whole seventh Cavalry. We finally figured out that the Pig Driver had'nt turned the petrol on. And Yes the Man u scarfe and slippers were involved as well.
Any body remember Big Griff from that Bog tour? He was the IRA Sympathiser who thought the SAS shot the Pope. Jinx and myself were on the front gate one night and all you could hear coming towards us from the diamond was someone singing Men Of Harlech it was Griff.

I remember coming back from the CSE show up the Creggan as well when the pig broke down on the flyover. Didn't we all go into snap VCP mode and bluff it.
Remember the gasworks tanker escort charade?

Lads what great reading and great memories, from the formation in Tidworth through to late in Lemgo I remember all the things you are on about. and yes some one had to bring up the Gerry Crocker wake up call when I got away with telling him to F*****8 craped my self really when he answered. Yes it was a gas mask, helmet the state of her I need one should have put the whole suit on, wasn't fit enough in them days to leave the filter on though even with the counts (OC) long long long distance morning runs in noddy suits and then servicing the 432's. Never stopped us getting shedded though did it lads.
Best night was the Sunday or was it Monday early Hours when climbed over the fencing up stairs to get into the gym and clear up the booze form the Sgt's Mess summer or X Mas ball. Yes I did the curry but after the function Yanto lol thought you was going to kill me in the morning. Best laugh ever Misfit squatting over Neil lock?? going to Far* on him but followed through. Lads could go on for ever great days never to be repeated unfortunately but what a great place to live the good old rattle, Sorry any one in the drums remember when Benny Nash always used to come in last at night shedded and always switched the lights on. We took the fuse out and he spent nearly an hour flicking the switch which was even worse. It was Benny who was responsible for the battle of the Rattle if I remember right?
