Clive as time rolls on things change, and the younger guys do need educating in the songs this is true, but you need the characters to do it,

the old max boyce songs are the same a lot of the youngsters of today dont know where they originated, my boy asked me when i was home, Dad where does Hymns and arias come from that they sing at the rugby,

I quickly downloaded max boyce live at treochy from amazon and sat back and watched his reaction to some great songs and poems, I THINK HES EDUCATED he now knows the full song not just the chorus

Sox how right you are it was'nt the song but the charecters who sang them if you had a pint you had song. Ahhh wonderfull memories
