Wally you were my SAA instructor during my recruit training at Depot Crickhowell 1967.I always admired you. I never met your wife Marion but judging by the tributes on this site she must have been a wonderful caring lady. I am very sorry to hear of your loss and offer my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Thank you all for the condolences for my wife and my mum Marion, if you would like to attend the funeral then the ceremony will take place at Dewi Reynolds (Treorchy) at 1:40 on Thursday 9th may followed by ceremony at Llwydcoed crematorium (Aberdare crematorium) at 2:40, refreshments available at Treorchy rugby club after the ceremony -Wally and Cheryl

To Wally, Cheryl and the rest of the family from Bob and Glenys Doak. We are desperately sorry for you all in your sad loss. We remember all the good, happy times that we had from the depot in 1969 to Hong Kong and all the other postings particularly Lemgo days where we were all one big Regimental family. We are thinking of you at this time and please let us know if there is anything we can do.
