I am very sad to read of the loss of a someone who was a top class person, soldeir and Royal Welchman. I was lucky to have had the chance to serve with him and learn from him.

So so sorry to hear this sad news. Sox was a fine soldier and in particular an inspiration to many young fusiliers. This terrible disease is no respecter of persons and it seems so unjust that Sox should have suffered from it. They say the good die young and here is yet more proof. Sox will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolences to all his family and friends. In deepest sympathy, Bob

devastating news, sox was my section commander in berlin in A COY before i went to 10 platoon D.COY in berlin as a sprog, what a top bloke, he guided me through my fathers death as a young fusilier of 20 and new to the battalion my heart thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
