I'm only just seen that Bill has passed away & am so saddened by it. Another RWF man I have known and known of all my life, that I can remember. Such a lovely man, I was so glad I managed to see & talk to him a few years ago in Wrexham. God bless Strasser, rest in peace. Remembered always with affection, as so many of the 'old school' are.
Well can only repeat wats already bin said...a GREAT man a legend witin regimental circles Bill was my 1st boss within the pioneers and only wish i could ave followed in his footsteps but....knowone can because he was unique U will greatly b missed Bill RIP
