Did Mark Hughes deserve to be sacked?

Another non football fan pontificating on football matters. Seems to me that those with a passion for football tend to forget that Football seems to be one of the most cut throat BUSINESSES out there. To draw comparison with the international money markets, we are in a recession because too much was never enough for the banks. As a trader, you couldn't go to your boss and say I have only made ten million for the bank this year but I have laid down a foundation for steady growth next year, you would have been sacked for not making a 100 million. The same I think applies to football managers as well. There is no opportunity to slowly develop a good team, todays results are the only thing that matters.

We know how the international money markets collapsed could football do that? I don't know, but I do know that it's time to put some fan power back in the mix. Let the grass roots fan have a say cos if the money men can make a fast buck out of ruining your club, they WILL and they will sleep soundly in their beds having done so.
