As a former member of the Assault Pioneers , I am saddened to hear of the passing of , "Our friend Gwynant".
He was such a nice quiet lad . And i for one, as well as many others have had the pleasure of working alongside him.

Myself, Eddie Williams 64 and Guy Owen 18 attended Gwynants funereal yesterday. There was a good turnout with many friends and family were there to pay there respect to Gwynant. His coffin was draped in the Welsh Flag and Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau was sang at the graveside.
Gwynant died under sad circumstances, but I'm sure those that remembered him Will never forget the cheerful but shy young man with a great sense of humor, Rest In Peace.
Thanks Mike , would have liked to been there but circumantances are difficult, like you said a great lad and will be missed, REST IN PEACE a fellow comrade.
Just heard the news. Absoloutley gutted. He was my first ever team commander in N.I. Brilliant bloke my deepest sympathy to his family.
