Re: Karl Stowell
I have just read all the previous posts and I have a lump in my throat.
Everyone Karl met never had a bad word to say about him and thats a mark of a true friend.
I have also recieved lots of calls of condolence from members of 2 R Welsh where he again made his mark and will be sorely missed.
Goodbye Mate.

Re: Karl Stowell
On behalf of my family and myself i would like to pass on my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to Karl's family on such a sad day. RIP MATE
i would now lik to quote a poem for Karl's family which a carry with me since my brother passed away many years ago if thats ok:-
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.

Karl Stowell
Yesterday WO2 Greg Plimley and Lt Fox ran the Snowdonia Marathon to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Care. As you all know the MacMillan nurses enabled Karl's wish to be at home become a reality. They were a tremendous support to Karl, Gail, Georgia and Leon, and still are. Please visit the below link to sponsor/donate for such a worthy cause.
Well done Greg!
