Got married in 1978 and the number one on our wedding day was "Mary's Boy Child" by Boney M, definately a boy getting married, mind you still going strong after 30years!!

Married April 1977 Abba topping the Charts with "Knowing me knowing you." But without checking any web-sites I also remember the song Mississippi being very popular around that time also.
