Just like to stick up for Sid here.
Sid, I'd never refer to you as Larry's younger Brother.
You look much older than him:biggrin:
From what I recall Sid was always know as Mrs Burns Little boy as for Drill, well Heidi was always the RSM in your house no doubts and LP was a Rifle Coy CSM yes no love for drill thats true, but drill is that soldiering ?
But a member of the magic badge club you was Sid !
Barry come on you should know that DRILL is the foundation of all discipline!!!!!! and Barry are you saying that this nations fine Guards Regiments who pride themselves on their DRILL are not soldiers, I'm sure those out in the sand would like to put you right........
the arrogance of the French i'm hearing (lol) Sid xxxx
At last!!! I knew that the great man himself, Jason Gilman(yes, his actual middle name) Burns, would come out fighting!! I dont suppose the fact that I was speaking to Heidi in Wrexham today had anything to do with this Sid ?
In regards to Barry's comment of him being also known as Mrs Burns' little boy', I can confirm from personal experience...
As a big mate of Sid's nephew Vince Michna(still serving), I have had the pleasure to become an attached member of the extended Burns family. And on many an occassion, I have heard 'nanna Burns', as I have called her for almost 20yrs, refer to Sid as her 'Little boy'.
Bloody hell Jean, Little? He is 6'3 in his crombie jacket!! I would just like to say to Sid, joking aside, please don't tell Nanna Burns on me next time we are down in Pil, Newport!
Will do Scouce, and don't forget rugby Saturday nags head you can stay at mine save taxi back to Llan.
result just become a LCpl for the third time in my career
Sid
Yeah well done, That was probably down to Larry ringing up the moderators on your behalf!! See you Saturday mate
Hi Scouse Sid
Hope ur both OK, stuck watchin the rugby in the holiday Inn Amman, it's a hard life and hopefully catch u around town for a pint when i'm home.
I dont believe Sid is realy Larrys brother,
when Larry and myself spent the night in Wrexham last week i had to arrange for Maj Larry Burns to sleep in transit accommodation in Hightown barracks. Now I know Sid lives very close to the barracks in a great big house and cannot belive that if Larry did have a brother called Sid then that brother would surely put him up for the night or at least go for a pint with him or even phone him.
If Sid is Larrys brother i am glad i have sisters!!
