What a sad loss, Tom was a wonderful man, who always had a smile on his face. He was a big family man my thoughts are with his family.

I cant believe I have just read this.
I knew Tom extremely well from my posting to the 1st Bn Grenadier Guards whilst in London.
Tom was the REME Armourer SSGT.
He was my next door neighbour in Wellington Barracks London for two years. We lived in masonettes within the Barracks (Nice)!!
I am totally shocked to have discovered this on the forum.
He was a great character that will be sadly lost. We used to take it in turns to see who could make the hottest curry on a Friday night at home after happy hour in the Mess. Great fun.
I dont know what else to say. I am lost for words.
R.I.P Tom
Both myself and Sharon are deeply saddened at this news.
