Bloody Sunday

Reading an article today with regards to Inquest into the 1974 Birmingham pub bombings. Not related to the thread but I believe it shows the political double standards towards the IRA., and it's political wing and those of the Crown's military.

Kieran Conway ( ex - IRA intelligence chief ) giving evidence to the inquest via a video link from Dublin when asked, " would you agree the killing constituted murder ", replied " no I do not agree. Had the IRA deliberately targeted that pub with the intention of killing civilians that would be murder. I say that it was a IRA operation that went badly wrong".

All operations carried out by the IRA, regardless of location were sanctioned by The Army Council.

There lies soldier F's defence. It could not be murder as the military operation that day did not deliberately target civilians.

Although I certainly do not expect arrests of those involved either here or in Ireland.
