Operation Snakebite

With the 1st Btn embarking on a difficult tour to Afghanistan can I recommend this book written by Stephen Grey. Which attempts (from a civilian and investigative journalists viewpoint) to highlight life out there in Helmend Province for the coalition force troops on the front line.
Stephen Grey gave a lecture to the RFCA (Wales) on his reflections and fielded some interesting questions from the floor in late September.
As I write this message he's on his way out there again to investigate what our troops are having to undertake in the post-election period.
A good read and a great bloke to talk too!
