I know its a bit late but does any one know about accomodation for the reunion in Sept ????
Hi 45
Most of us stay at the Glyndwr college, Wrexham, next to the Racecourse Football ground, your own little room (en suite) and a very good breakfast for £30.00 per night, they also run a free shuttle mini bus service to hightown Bks.and the Sunday parade, times vary, I reserve a room through my RWFCA branch, phone RHQ Wrexham for advice, hope this helps.
Brian
Does anyone have the phone number for the RHQ ?? Please
Try 01978 264521. Good luck.
I seem to recall a thread on here earlier this year stating that accommodation at the barrcks was unavailable due to the renovation.
Hello Scouse,
Hightown Barracks is short of accomodation. this is due to the R.E.M.E. occupying the barracks, it appears that the ground floor of the keep has been double glazed and cubicles have been installed for the use of the R.E.M.E staff who are at present being boarded out. I believe this will become a larger picture of things to come in the Barracks as time moves on.
