Berlin 1989 Rugby Tour Crickhowell RFC

Has anyone out there got any happy snaps of the Tour by Crickhowell RFC in 1989 in Berlin ?. Did any of you play on that tour against Crickhowell ?.

mac i dont think we would have arrived in Berlin when they toured i cant remember playing against crickhowell out there we arrived Jul/Aug 1989

Thanks for that mate , maybe I have the dates wrong , old age and all that . We toured when the wall came down . I have great memories of being at checkpoint charlie , touring the East on horse and cart and touching base with Jim Brown on the Brandenburg Gate (he was working as a BG for Pete Gouch at the time) , and buying bits of the wall as momentos . So , it did happen , maybe not when I said it did .
Anyone out there with a better memory than me ?

i was posted Jan 92 so they had a few more months prior to the move to Tidworth i know Christ College Brecon came out sorry not to much help to you

Hello Jeff, We started to arrive in Berlin from beginning of May 89, and i do recall Crickhowell RFC playing out there but cant remember when. i recall reminiscing with a few players that i played with at Crickhowell 85/86 when posted to Brecon. Regards

I cant recall crickhowel coming out but i was away on Junior Brecon when the wall came down, so may have missed them
