Lookign at the new random threads, I notice that:
1. The new cap badge is displayed. Has this been ratified yet as the new bage that is to be worn?
2. A collar badge is displayed. Is this badge applicable to 1 RW or are they for both Bns. If they are for the 1st only, what collar badges are the 2nd Bn wearing?
1. The Cap badge shown is the one that is to be worn and i beleive this will be coming into service in March.
2. The Collar dogs will be worn by all three Battalions the only differant thing that each Battalions have is our DZ flash which is worn on our right arm

b. 2nd Battalion welsh flag

Scorch, you'll find that the 2nd Battalion do not have a welsh flag as their TRF. It is a Dragon Passent and i believe the 3rd is a blue and green patch.

All 3 Bns are/will be dressed the same when in cerimonial, service dress and barrack dress. The only visible differance of what Bn a R WELSH soldier is in will be in C95 (woodland and desert) where Tactical Recognition Flashes (TRF's) are worn. Pictures of the TRF's are attched...Quote:
