Have 1 RW started to play their Army Cup games yet? I see 2 RW have withdrawn from the competition (so Army Rugby site) says.
Their game last week was called off (2 Yorks, old Duke of Boots) could not raise a team.
Current Army Cup match's to be played:
12 Nov 9 Sup v 1 R Welsh Chippenham
26 Nov 1 WG v 1 R Welsh Aldershot

They could not raise a team worthy of the fixture (did not want an hammering).
the 1st Battalion is takeing the lead with the rugby this year with a number of 2nd battalion playing for us if you require i will post scores and fixtures on the forum
You cant possibly be accusing the R WELSH of packing a team. I am sure the former 2nd Bn guys have been officially posted to the 1st Bn for " operational reasons" Same tactic as 7 RHA 2 SIGS etc used to pull not so long ago ?Quote:
