Adopted By Sid And Heidi Burns!!

I would like to announce that even after all the abuse(banter) that I give to Sid 'brother of Larry' Burns on the forum, here is proof that he is a softy at heart!!

We were both on rest days yesterday, and bumped into each other in Wrexham town centre. This is how the converstaion unfolded:

Scouse: Alright Jase? What you up to mucker?:smile:

Sid: Just off to pick mine and Heidi's plane tickets to Cyprus, we are going for two weeks next Sunday and staying at Joanna's(Sid's daughter):biggrin:

Scouse: Nice one mate, I've got nothing booked yet, Can I come?(I was Joking):cute:

Sid: If you want to yeah!:laugh:

Sid on phone to Heidi: Scouse is coming with us to Cyprus next week, is that ok?:confused:

Heidi: Too right it is, it will get you from under my feet and stop you pestering me!!:yes:
Five minutes later the flight is booked. Later that day I saw Sid's lad Steffan and told him the story to which he replied "They may as well just adopt you!!"

It was only after my flight was booked that Sid said "Oh, by the way Scouse, I've hired a jeep for the fortnight. You owe me half!!":biglaugh: I knew there would be another motive!!

So twenty years after Vince Michna and i used to go and see Uncle Jason and aunty Heidi to borrow 100Deutsche Marks at the end of the month, they are still my adopted parents!!!


Talking of adoption, we then bumped into Paul Gough and his very own foster child...Den Morris!!


In work that evening, I was discussing with my colleagues how my newly and hastily arranged holiday came about to which they all replied in unison: "IT MUST BE A SQUADDIE THING!"

And there was me thinking, nice quiet holiday sat on the beach with the latest copy of Razzle. Scouse 200 Euro for the jeep sharpish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Sox, You know Sid, He only smokes free fags off other people. No way will he get some duty free ones mate.

Well new son of Syd & Heidi have a great time in the land of sun, Syd give my regards to Joe !
Its of no surprise to me though anyone whom shares your bath "A Quality bath I know" must be close to family lol - Happy days all:cool:

Cheers Barry, we will send you some updates from Cyprus if we can. Im sure Heidi will have the tell-tale camera for us to post on our return.

Heidi will make a marvellous surrogate mother for you. Very caring, with a steely, quite frightening edge. Just what you need. You swamp the bed at your own risk.....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

On the other hand, your new Dad Sid(younger brother of Larry) mmmmmm, I'm thinking abusive father, in the style of Frank Gallagher from Shameless. I suspect your bank account will take a hammering in Cyprus........as Sid(YBOL) builds that Father/Son relationship!!!!!!!

make sure you look in sids wardrobe to get your fancy dress outfit for the mess ball

Al, I had to laugh the other day when Sid seriously said to me "Bring some old trainers for a run on the beach in the mornings. It will make us feel like we have deserved the days beer!!" if he couldnt get me doing it as my Sgt Major, I think his chances are pretty remote when its 35 in the shade and i have a hangover!!! Christ my new adopted dad is turning into Nick Ravenhill!!!
