Went to Dai's funeral today, it was very well attended by all his friends and family.
The Colwyn Bay Branch Standard of the Royal Welch Fusiliers was carried by Alan Pritchard and numerous ex Royal Welch attended as Dai was a staunch Royal Welchman, also in attendance was the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team with their vehicles of which Dai was a founder member.
It was a marvellous send off for a marvellous man.
Regards,
Joe.

I was sad to hear of Dias demise, when iwas a PSI in the late 60s I was privlaged to have Dia in my Pln in Colwyn Bay. A vrery quiet talented man who would of got on well in the regular army. When ever i watch the Sharp programm and Hagman appears i think of Dia ,someone reliable to watch your back.
so sorry to hear of the passing of DAI.a wonderful preson who would always give advice and guideance. DAI was a film star who appeared in BLUE PETER with ANTONY NEWLEY. RIP.
