Welcome to the May 2025 Newsletter from RHQ The Royal Welsh. This month, we extend a warm welcome to Captain Harry Merriman as he joins RHQ as our new Regimental Adjutant. We wish him all the best in his new role and also offer our sincere thanks and best wishes to the outgoing Regimental Adjutant, Captain Chris Keegan, who has moved on to become the Adjutant of 4 YORKS.

This edition is packed with updates covering recent regimental activities, from Maj Gen Morgan Llewellyn’s memorial service and the return of Charlie Company's deployment to France, to regimental community events such as the 3rd Battalion annual golf competition and The Royal Welsh Club’s Walk and Talk South. We also look back at significant historical commemorations including VE Day and the 80th anniversary of Frederick Barter VC.
