Regimental Reunion The Royal Welch Fusiliers Comrades Association Schedule of Events

The 100th Reunion of The Royal Welch Fusiliers will take place on Saturday 7th September and will be hosted at Coleg Cambria Wrexham. The schedule of events is as follows:

Friday 6th September

Association Golf Competition: A friendly competition among comrades. Interested participants should contact RHQ Wrexham for details.

Saturday 7th September

10:00 AM – Mayor's Reception: Held in the Cafeteria area of Coleg Cambria. Each branch is invited to send three representatives, preferably those not participating in the march.

10:40 AM – Freedom Parade: Witness the 1st and 3rd Battalion The Royal Welsh, Comrades and Cadets, exercise their right to march through the City of Wrexham with
bayonets fixed and colours flying. Branches should inform the Comrades Secretary of their participants.

10:40 AM: Form up on Llwyn Isaf Green under Keith Jones14

11:00 AM: Inspection

11:25 AM: Freedom March through the City

12:00 PM: Parade arrives at the Cenotaph for the Remembrance Service

12:10 PM: Remembrance Service

12:30 PM: Comrades Reunion Lunch at Coleg Cambria

For those attending only the Remembrance Service, please be at the Memorial Hall area by 12:00 PM. We encourage as many Branch Standard Bearers as possible to join.

Reunion Lunch

A luncheon will immediately follow the Remembrance Service at Coleg Cambria, conveniently located across from the RWF Cenotaph. Attendees are requested to be
seated by 12:30 PM.
