Cpl Alun Freeth

It is with great sadness to inform members of the passing away peacefully of Alun on Armed Forces Day 2023
Alun served in the 1st Bn RWF in the 1950.s in Jamaica and Germany. People might remember Alun giving an interview with Bill Roach (Ken Barlow fame) on Bill,s 90th birthday celebration programme on ITV.
Alun was a staunch member of the Shotton &Deeside Branch RWFCA a true Royal Welch Fusilier, our thoughts go out to his family friends and fellow comrades at this very sad time.
Alun funeral will take place on Thursday 13th July 2023 at St Andrew's Church Garden City Sealand Deeside Flintshire at 1000hrs with a private burial at Hawarden Cemetary and refreshments after at the Naval Club Connahs Quay
