LCpl Lawrence Jablonski (RWF)

LCpl Lawrence Jablonski served for nine years with the Royal Welch Fusiliers. He served in A Company 1RWF and eventually became Arms Storeman for A Company. On Leaving the Army he settled down in the Mountain Ash area and joined the Mountain Ash Comrades Branch.

He applied and was accepted to become a Chelsea Pensioner at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, where he lived for almost 10 years and ran the Model Making Hobby Room.

Lawrence Jablonski attended many Regimental events and reunions but in the recent past he has not been well enough to travel.

Lawrence passed away peacefully on Saturday 27^th August 2022.

It is such a shock. I served with Lawrence in A Coy for 10 years. R.I.P Lawrence until we meet again ..
