Backstop N.Ireland
Right can someone explain to me the rashonal of the southern Irish and the EU they say they don't want a hard boarder so that's why they want the backstop and they say that's final yet the UK rightly says it's does not want the backstop as it ties us in to a never ending agreement so if they won't talk about it we'll end up leaving with a no deal which will result in a hard boarder any way !!!!!!

Re: Backstop N.Ireland
They are trying every trick in the Book now to keep us in. Switzerland has a few Borders with the EU and they dont get any bother. Finland also do fine without the wasters too. We should Bill the Bums for 2 World Wars.

Re: Backstop N.Ireland
Wasn’t one of the main elements of Brexit to secure our porous borders? Now that we are leaving the sticking point seems to be that we have to keep the Irish border open. Is it me?
Could it be we are pandering to the Unionist minority here, or is it perhaps; if we have a hard border the Southern Irish wouldn’t be able nip across the line and buy cheap goods in the North.
